Full Moons happen when the Sun and Moon are in opposition to each other. If you are watching the Sun setting in the West, and you look East, you will see the Moon rising. This indicates a point of tension. Energy has been building up to this point since the New Moon at the end of last month. There is often a climax or a conflict at this point in the cycle.
